I got to talk to Davis Nguyen recently and I have to say he is one of the smartest people I have ever met. His family immigrated to the U.S. so he learned to be grateful for every little opportunity he got. He went from living on food stamps, having his water and electricity cut off multiple times, and graduating from a high school district that was called “the worst in the US” to getting accepted into Yale and being able to pay for his schooling without owing a cent.
He has an amazing website called Click with Anyone where he has devoted 2015 to showing people that you can be born to less than ideal situations and still achieve your wildest dreams. He wants to inspire people to work towards their dreams as he works towards one of his: connecting with 52 of his role models growing up. He documents all his successes, failures, and lessons he has learned along the way.
We talk about ways to stand out and making a difference while following one’s passion. Check out the episode here or below.
