Lina Abisoghomyan is back and this time she is breaking down the European Parliament for us. It is the directly elected parliamentary institution of the European Union (EU). Together with the Council of the European Union (the Council) and the European Commission, it exercises the legislative function of the EU.

We also get into differences between the parliament and congress as well different ways their policies affect all of Europe.
