Today’s interview is with Ginger Kern. Ginger Kern is a traveler, an optimist, and a connector. A Fulbright alumna and a Global Shaper as part of the World Economic Forum, she left her home in the Midwest to work in Europe for three years, traveling to 25 countries around the world by the age of 25. Through the Traveler’s Mindset online platform and and through speaking across the U.S., Ginger‘s work encourages a culture of openness, curiosity and adventure. One thing that totally inspires her is the possibility of all Americans having passports and traveling internationally (as of 2015, only 38% of U.S. citizens have a passport), which is the reason she started her platform.
