Global Nomads Group fosters dialogue and understanding among the world’s youth. By leveraging technology, they enable conversations between middle school and high school students who otherwise would not meet. These exchanges promote empathy, peace, and build 21st century workforce skills.

They describe themselves as storytellers and explorers who uncover untold truths and break down barriers.

Since 1998 they have reached approximately one million young people on all 7 continents. Each year, the regions in which they work vary slightly as they seek to expand their programs, reach a greater diversity of young people, and provide opportunities to connect youth.

I talked to Abby Finck who is the Engagement Coordinator at Global Nomads Group and we discussed her journey, passions and some of the important work Global Nomads Group is doing.

Be sure to RSVP for their Literacy webcast on Malawi which will air on Wednesday, May 20th and between 9:00am and 9:40am ET. This webcast will include students from the U.S. and Malawi. Tune in to see how Global Nomads Group will improve youth reading and writing skills around the world.
