Today’s interview is with Fleure Maricaux. She is a third culture kid, humanist and empath. Fleure is a 27 year-old professional of Belgian-Senegalese citizenship. She spent the majority of her formative years in Niger and went on to pursue her Bachelor in Sociology in Brussels and her Masters in International Management in Monaco. During her studies, Fleure rapidly developed an interest for youth leadership and « North-South » relations.

She became involved in youth associations such as AIESEC and the African, Caribbean and Pacific Youth Professionals Network, and has worked for the Belgian Development Agency, UNFAO and the Swiss leading child relief organisation – Terre des hommes Lausanne.
Passionate about community capacity development and driven by creating an impact in our increasingly connected societies, Fleure uses her multicultural identity as a vantage point to foster more inclusion and diversity in both her personal and professional environment.

We talked about her background, home and thoughts on identity.
